The Chamber Music Institute is open to pianists, violinists, violists, and cellists who are at least 18 years of age and older (no maximum age limit).

Early Bird Deadline: January 1st, 2026 - $25

Scholarship Priority Deadline: January 26th, 2026 - $40

Final Program Deadline: February 8th, 2026 - $50

Late Application Fee - $60*

Applicants applying after January 26th will still be eligible for scholarship opportunities.

Audition Requirements - Piano:

Applicants must submit two contrasting works (or complete movements of works) by different composers that display their strengths and mastery of various styles.  Concerti, sonatas, and other unaccompanied works will fulfill this requirement.

Pre-formed groups (of 2-5 players) are welcome to apply, but each member must submit an individual application to be accepted into the program on their own merit. Pre-formed ensembles must upload an additional recording (different than the two recordings required of each applicant) showcasing the ensemble. The composer featured in the ensemble video may be the same as that of an individual's recording. Please note that ECCMF does not accept piano duos.

Pianists who wish to be considered for a collaborative scholarship (see Scholarship section below) must submit an additional video showcasing their collaborative ability, preferably a sonata with an instrumental player. As part of the Piano Program curriculum all accepted pianists, regardless of scholarship decision, will be given collaborative assignments for instrumentalists' masterclass performances (sonata movements, concerto movements, etc.). Pianists that receive collaborative scholarship will be given additional collaborative assignments. If applying as a member of a pre-formed ensemble, the required additional video of the ensemble will not fulfill this requirement, unless otherwise approved by ECCMF faculty. Required Recordings: Submit video links through the application form. Each individual work (or movement of a work) should be uploaded separately. Please include relevant information surrounding the name of the composer and title of the work. All submitted videos must be unedited, in a single take, and clearly show the hands and face of the applicant.
